Oven Baked Chicken Breast

Juicy oven baked chicken breast in 28 minutes

Ingredients
  

  • 4 chicken breasts 150–180g each
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil

Seasoning

  • 1 1/2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano or thyme
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Garnish (optional)

  • Fresh parsley chopped

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) or 200°C fan.
  • Pound chicken breasts to even thickness (about 1.5 cm) for even cooking.
  • Mix all seasoning ingredients in a small bowl.
  • Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  • Place chicken on the tray and drizzle with olive oil.
  • Rub oil over chicken, then sprinkle seasoning evenly.
  • Flip chicken and repeat oil and seasoning on the other side.
  • Bake for 18 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  • Remove from oven and let rest for 3–5 minutes.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve.
  • This Oven Baked Chicken Breast is best served warm and juicy.

Notes

  • Swap herbs based on preference (thyme, rosemary, Italian mix)
