Ingredients
  

For the Turkey Sliders

  • 1 large egg
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • ½ cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • 2 teaspoons dried parsley
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

For Serving

  • 8 slices cheese cheddar, American, Swiss, or provolone
  • 8 slider buns or mini rolls
  • Lettuce
  • Tomato slices
  • Pickles
  • Favorite burger sauces

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the Turkey Mixture
  • In a small bowl, lightly beat the egg with a fork.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, beaten egg, panko breadcrumbs, onion powder, paprika, parsley, salt, and pepper.
  • Lightly oil your hands to prevent sticking.
  • Mix gently until just combined.
  • Avoid overmixing to keep the sliders tender.
  • Form the Sliders
  • Divide the mixture into 8 equal portions.
  • Roll each portion into a ball.
  • Flatten into small patties slightly larger than your slider buns.
  • Press a small indentation in the center of each patty to prevent puffing during cooking.
  • Cook the Sliders
  • Heat a grill or skillet over medium heat.
  • Lightly grease the cooking surface.
  • Cook the patties for about 3 minutes per side.
  • Continue cooking until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  • During the final minute, place a slice of cheese on each patty.
  • Cover briefly to help the cheese melt.
  • Assemble
  • Place each turkey slider on a bun.
  • Add desired toppings and sauces.
  • Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Ground chicken may be substituted for turkey.
  • Add diced onions or shredded cheese to the meat mixture.
  • Great for meal prep and lunchboxes.
  • Serve with sweet potato fries or a fresh salad.
