Ingredients

  • 1¼ pounds ground turkey
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup fresh spinach chopped
  • ½ cup feta cheese crumbled
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 6 ounces mixed salad greens for serving
  • Keto-friendly Green Goddess dressing for serving

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (204°C).
  • Add the ground turkey, egg, chopped spinach, crumbled feta, parsley, dill, salt, and black pepper to a large mixing bowl.
  • Gently combine the ingredients until evenly distributed. Avoid overmixing, which can make the finished burgers dense.
  • Divide the turkey mixture into six equal portions.
  • Shape each portion gently into a burger patty of even thickness.
  • Heat the olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium to medium-high heat.
  • Once the oil is hot, arrange the patties in the skillet without overcrowding. Work in batches if necessary.
  • Cook for approximately 3–4 minutes on the first side, until nicely browned.
  • Carefully flip each patty and brown the second side for another 3–4 minutes. The feta makes the burgers tender, so handle them gently.
  • Transfer the oven-safe skillet directly to the preheated oven. If your skillet is not oven-safe, transfer the browned patties to a baking sheet.
  • Bake for approximately 10 minutes, or until the center of each burger reaches 165°F (74°C).
  • Remove the Keto Spinach Feta Turkey Burgers from the oven and let them rest for several minutes.
  • Divide the salad greens among serving plates.
  • Place the warm turkey burgers over the greens.
  • Drizzle with a keto-friendly Green Goddess dressing and serve.

Notes

Ground chicken can replace ground turkey if desired. Make sure it also reaches 165°F internally.
For more Mediterranean flavor, add a little garlic powder, dried oregano, or finely grated lemon zest to the burger mixture.
If you prefer a completely stovetop preparation, reduce the heat after browning and continue cooking the patties until they reach a safe internal temperature.
