Buffalo Chicken Dip Cups

Buffalo Chicken Dip Cups combine crispy wonton wrappers with creamy buffalo chicken filling.

Ingredients
  

  • 24 wonton wrappers
  • 4 ounces cream cheese softened
  • ¼ cup blue cheese crumbles
  • ¼ cup blue cheese dressing
  • 4 tablespoons Frank's Hot Sauce
  • 1 cup shredded rotisserie chicken
  • Extra blue cheese crumbles for garnish
  • Chopped chives for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Lightly spray a mini muffin pan with cooking spray.
  • Press one wonton wrapper into each muffin cup.
  • Bake for 5–7 minutes, or until the wontons become lightly golden and crisp.
  • Remove from the oven and carefully transfer the wonton cups to a cooling rack.
  • Prepare the Buffalo Chicken Filling
  • In a large mixing bowl or stand mixer, combine:
  • Cream cheese
  • Blue cheese crumbles
  • Blue cheese dressing
  • Frank's Hot Sauce
  • Beat until smooth and fully combined.
  • Add shredded rotisserie chicken.
  • Mix until the chicken is evenly incorporated and slightly shredded into the mixture.
  • Assemble and Bake
  • Fill each wonton cup with approximately 1 tablespoon of buffalo chicken mixture.
  • Arrange the filled cups on a baking sheet.
  • Cover tightly with aluminum foil.
  • Bake at 300°F (150°C) for 10 minutes or until the filling is hot, creamy, and gooey.
  • Remove from the oven.
  • Garnish with additional blue cheese crumbles and freshly chopped chives.
  • Serve warm.

Notes

  • Serve with celery and carrot sticks.
  • Add shredded cheddar cheese for an extra cheesy filling.
  • Green onions can replace chives.
  • For a milder version, reduce the amount of hot sauce.
  • These cups are best served immediately while crispy.
