3 Ingredient Banana Pancakes

Quick 3 ingredient banana pancakes made with bananas, eggs, and flour.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 medium-to-large ripe bananas
  • 4 large eggs
  • ½ cup whole wheat flour or buckwheat flour or ⅔ cup oat flour
  • Optional: ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Optional: up to 2 tablespoons hemp hearts or ground flaxseed
  • Optional: up to ¼ teaspoon salt
  • Butter avocado oil, or ghee for cooking

Instructions
 

  • In a medium bowl, mash the bananas until smooth and glossy.
  • Add the eggs and whisk until fully combined with the banana.
  • Stir in the flour and any optional ingredients until just combined. Let the batter rest while preheating the skillet.
  • Heat a skillet over medium-low heat and lightly grease if needed.
  • Pour ¼ cup batter per pancake onto the skillet.
  • Cook for 2–3 minutes until bubbles form on the surface.
  • Flip and cook for another 1–2 minutes until golden brown.
  • Repeat with remaining batter, adjusting heat as needed.
  • These 3 Ingredient Banana Pancakes are best served warm right off the pan.

Notes

  • Top with honey, maple syrup, or fresh fruits
  • Add chocolate chips for a sweeter version
  • Great with yogurt or nut butter for extra protein
