Very Vanilla Fruit Salad combines fresh berries, kiwi, pineapple, and cantaloupe with pure vanilla extract.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups strawberries halved
  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 1 cup fresh or canned pineapple chunks
  • 1 cup cantaloupe chunks
  • 2 kiwis peeled and sliced
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • Wash and prepare all fresh fruit.
  • Place the strawberries, blueberries, pineapple, cantaloupe, and kiwi into a large serving bowl.
  • Drizzle the vanilla extract evenly over the fruit.
  • Gently toss until all ingredients are evenly coated.
  • Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or a lid.
  • Refrigerate the Very Vanilla Fruit Salad for at least 1 hour before serving to allow the flavors to blend.
  • Stir gently before serving and enjoy chilled.

Notes

  • Fresh pineapple offers the brightest flavor, but canned pineapple packed in juice works well.
  • Serve with vanilla yogurt, whipped cream, or fresh mint if desired.
  • This recipe is easily doubled for parties and gatherings.
  • For extra sweetness, drizzle with a little honey or maple syrup if needed.
