Vanilla Mug Cake

A quick and fluffy Vanilla Mug Cake made with protein powder.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder 32–34 grams
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon coconut flour
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Optional: chocolate chips for topping

Instructions
 

  • Lightly grease a microwave-safe mug with cooking spray.
  • In a small bowl, combine the vanilla protein powder, baking powder, and coconut flour.
  • Add the maple syrup, egg, milk, and vanilla extract.
  • Stir until a smooth batter forms and no dry ingredients remain.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared mug.
  • If desired, sprinkle chocolate chips on top.
  • Microwave for 60 seconds, or until the Vanilla Mug Cake is cooked through in the center.
  • Allow the cake to cool for 1–2 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Chocolate chips are optional but add extra indulgence.
  • Serve with fresh berries or a spoonful of Greek yogurt.
  • Adjust sweetness by increasing or decreasing the maple syrup.
  • Different protein powders may slightly affect the final texture.
