Ingredients

  • 1 cup creamy almond butter
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup vegan chocolate protein powder
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • Extra chocolate chips for topping

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease an 8×8-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together almond butter, eggs, maple syrup, almond milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Add vegan chocolate protein powder, cocoa powder, sea salt, and baking powder. Stir until fully combined.
  • If the batter seems too thick or dry, add a splash of almond milk until the texture becomes smooth and spreadable.
  • Fold in chocolate chips gently.
  • Pour the protein brownies batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
  • Sprinkle extra chocolate chips on top for an even richer chocolate finish.
  • Bake for 25–30 minutes or until the brownies are set in the center and a toothpick comes out mostly clean.
  • Allow brownies to cool completely before slicing into squares. This helps achieve the perfect fudgy texture.

Notes

These healthy protein brownies pair perfectly with fresh berries, almond milk, or a scoop of vanilla yogurt. For extra richness, drizzle melted dark chocolate on top before serving.
