Tamago Kake Gohan Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 to 3 cups very hot cooked brown rice
  • 2 eggs

Instructions
 

  • Divide the very hot cooked brown rice between two serving bowls.
  • While the rice is still piping hot, crack one egg into each bowl.
  • Add a few splashes of tamari to each bowl.
  • Stir vigorously until the egg coats the rice and gently cooks from the heat, creating a creamy and silky texture.
  • Drizzle lightly with extra-virgin olive oil if desired.
