Tahini Chicken

Tahini Chicken is tender chicken tossed in a creamy sesame tahini sauce.

Ingredients
  

  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1 chicken bouillon cube
  • 1/4 cup tahini sesame paste
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 2 teaspoons minced fresh ginger
  • 2 teaspoons butter or as needed
  • 2 skinless boneless chicken breasts, cut into cubes
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour or as needed
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions
 

  • In a small pot, bring water and chicken bouillon cube to a boil until dissolved. Reduce heat to low.
  • Whisk in tahini, soy sauce, honey, garlic, and ginger until smooth. Keep sauce warm over low heat.
  • In a separate skillet over medium heat, melt butter.
  • Add cubed chicken and cook 5–10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until fully cooked and internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  • Whisk flour into the tahini sauce and cook 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  • Add cooked chicken to the sauce and toss until fully coated.
  • Garnish with sesame seeds and serve warm.

Notes

• Best served over jasmine rice, quinoa, or cauliflower rice.
