Strawberry Cream Cheese Danishes

Ingredients
  

  • 1 package puff pastry thawed
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries hulled and sliced
  • 1 egg beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions
 

  • Thaw puff pastry according to package instructions.
  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a bowl, mix cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  • Roll out puff pastry slightly and cut into equal squares.
  • Spoon cream cheese mixture into the center of each square. Top with sliced strawberries.
  • Fold corners inward to create a pocket and press gently to seal.
  • Brush pastry edges with egg wash.
  • Bake Strawberry Cream Cheese Danishes for 22–25 minutes until golden and puffed.
  • Cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For extra shine, brush pastries twice with egg wash
