Fold in almond flour gently until fully incorporated.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
Sprinkle sliced almonds on top.
Bake for 28–35 minutes until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
Meanwhile, heat honey and water in a saucepan until combined to make syrup.
Once the cake is baked, slowly pour the honey syrup over the warm cake.
