Smoothie Bowl (5-Minute Healthy Breakfast)

A creamy Smoothie Bowl made with frozen berries and banana.

Ingredients
  

Smoothie Bowl

  • 1 heaping cup frozen mixed berries
  • 1 small ripe banana sliced and frozen
  • 2 –3 tablespoons light coconut milk or almond milk
  • 1 scoop plain or vanilla protein powder optional

Toppings (Optional)

  • 1 tablespoon shredded unsweetened coconut
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon hemp seeds
  • Granola
  • Fresh fruit

Instructions
 

Blend the base

  • Add frozen berries and banana to a blender. Blend on low until small bits remain.

Add liquid and protein

  • Add coconut or almond milk and protein powder (if using). Blend again on low, scraping down the sides as needed.

Achieve texture

  • Blend until the mixture reaches a thick, soft-serve consistency. Avoid adding too much liquid.

Serve immediately

  • Scoop the Smoothie Bowl into serving bowls.

Add toppings

  • Top with coconut, chia seeds, hemp seeds, granola, and fresh fruit as desired.

Notes

  • Swap almond milk with oat milk or dairy milk
