Slow Cooker Chicken Alfredo

Slow Cooker Chicken Alfredo is a creamy pasta dish with chicken and parmesan sauce.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 1/2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 1/2 cups low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup salted butter cubed
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 garlic cloves finely chopped
  • 12 ounces rigatoni
  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 1/2 cups freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley chopped

Instructions
 

  • Add heavy cream, chicken broth, butter, salt, pepper, garlic, and chicken to the slow cooker.
  • Stir to combine and cover.
  • Cook on low for 3–5 hours or high for 2–3 hours until chicken is fully cooked.
  • Remove the chicken and cut into bite-sized pieces.
  • Add pasta to the slow cooker and stir to coat in the sauce.
  • Increase heat to high and cook for 25–30 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender.
  • Return the chicken to the slow cooker.
  • Stir in parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
  • Garnish with parsley and extra parmesan before serving.
  • This Slow Cooker Chicken Alfredo is best served warm for a creamy, comforting meal.

Substitute fettuccine or penne if desired
