Olive Cheese Bread – Cheesy Savory Party Favorite

Olive Cheese Bread is a cheesy baked appetizer.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 loaf French bread
  • 8 oz pimiento-stuffed green olives
  • 8 oz black olives
  • 2 stalks green onions scallions
  • 1 stick butter room temperature
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 lb Monterey Jack cheese grated

Instructions
 

  • Preheat Oven
  • Preheat oven to 350°F (177°C).
  • Prepare the Olives and Onions
  • Roughly chop the black olives and pimiento-stuffed green olives. Slice the green onions into thin pieces.
  • Make the Cheese Mixture
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine butter, mayonnaise, grated Monterey Jack cheese, chopped olives, and green onions. Stir until fully combined and creamy.
  • Prepare the Bread
  • Slice the French bread lengthwise and place on a baking sheet.
  • Spread and Bake
  • Evenly spread the olive cheese mixture over both halves of the bread. Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and lightly browned.
  • Serve
  • Remove from oven, slice, and serve warm.

Notes

  • The mixture can be refrigerated for up to 2 days before baking.
