Preheat Oven
Preheat oven to 350°F (177°C).
Prepare the Olives and Onions
Roughly chop the black olives and pimiento-stuffed green olives. Slice the green onions into thin pieces.
Make the Cheese Mixture
In a large mixing bowl, combine butter, mayonnaise, grated Monterey Jack cheese, chopped olives, and green onions. Stir until fully combined and creamy.
Prepare the Bread
Slice the French bread lengthwise and place on a baking sheet.
Spread and Bake
Evenly spread the olive cheese mixture over both halves of the bread. Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and lightly browned.
Serve
Remove from oven, slice, and serve warm.
