No-Bake Margarita Balls are refreshing bite-sized desserts made with graham crackers, shredded coconut, fresh lime juice, and lime zest. Easy to prepare and chilled until perfectly firm.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup crushed graham crackers
  • 1 cup sweetened shredded coconut
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • ½ cup fresh lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons fresh orange juice halal-friendly substitute for tequila
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime zest
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter melted
  • Extra shredded coconut or lime zest for coating optional

Instructions
 

  • Line a baking tray or plate with parchment paper.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the crushed graham crackers, shredded coconut, and powdered sugar.
  • Add the fresh lime juice, orange juice, melted butter, and lime zest.
  • Stir until the mixture becomes evenly combined and sticky.
  • If the mixture feels too soft, add a little more crushed graham crackers. If it's too dry, add a teaspoon of lime juice.
  • Scoop about one tablespoon of the mixture and roll it into a smooth ball.
  • Roll each ball in additional shredded coconut or finely grated lime zest if desired.
  • Arrange the No-Bake Margarita Balls on the prepared tray.
  • Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or until firm.
  • Serve chilled for the best texture and flavor.

Notes

  • Add a teaspoon of vanilla extract for extra sweetness.
  • White chocolate chips make a delicious addition.
  • Garnish with extra lime zest just before serving.
