Add chopped bell pepper and cook until softened.
Stir in the rice, coating it in the flavorful oil.
Add turmeric, chili flakes, salt, and chicken broth. Stir to combine.
Return the chicken to the pot, spreading evenly on top.
Bring to a simmer, cover, and cook on low heat for 15 minutes without stirring.
Remove from heat and let rest for 10 minutes with the lid on.
Fluff the rice gently, garnish with green onions, and serve.
