Smoothie Bowl
- 1 heaping cup organic frozen mixed berries
- 1 small ripe banana sliced and frozen
- 2 –3 tablespoons light coconut milk or almond milk plus more if needed
- 1 scoop plain or vanilla protein powder optional
Optional Toppings
- 1 tablespoon unsweetened shredded coconut
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
- 1 tablespoon hemp seeds
- Granola
- Fresh fruit
Add the frozen mixed berries, frozen banana, coconut milk or almond milk, and protein powder (if using) to a high-speed blender.
Blend until thick and creamy. Add a little more milk, one tablespoon at a time, only if needed to help the blender process the fruit.
Spoon the Mixed Berry Smoothie Bowl into a serving bowl.
Top with shredded coconut, chia seeds, hemp seeds, granola, and fresh fruit.
Serve immediately while thick and cold.
- Almond milk creates a lighter texture, while coconut milk gives extra creaminess.
- Skip the protein powder for a simple fruit smoothie bowl.
- Add nut butter for healthy fats and extra richness.
- Fresh berries, kiwi, banana slices, or mango make excellent toppings.
