Mini Grilled Cheese Recipe

Mini grilled cheese are bite-sized sandwiches made with rolls and melted cheese.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pack dinner rolls 12 rolls
  • 12 slices cheese
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning

Instructions
 

  • Slice the rolls into individual pieces or cut into two sections, then slice each section in half horizontally.
  • Gently flatten the tops and bottoms using your hands, a rolling pin, or a glass.
  • Heat a griddle or pan over medium-low heat.
  • Melt the butter and mix in garlic powder and Italian seasoning.
  • Brush butter mixture onto the inside of the rolls (this will become the outer crust).
  • Cut each cheese slice into four pieces.
  • Place rolls butter-side down on the griddle and add cheese pieces to each roll.
  • Place the top half of the roll over the cheese and brush the top with butter.
  • Cook until golden brown, then flip and cook the other side until crispy and cheese is fully melted.
  • Remove, cool slightly, and serve.
  • These mini grilled cheese sandwiches are best served warm and fresh.

Notes

  • Substitute turkey slices for added protein (halal-friendly)
