cheese
cheddar, mozzarella, or your favorite melting cheese
4
tablespoons
butter
1
teaspoon

Instructions
Slice rolls into 12 individual rolls, or cut into two sections of 6 rolls each. Using a serrated knife, slice the rolls in half horizontally.
Flatten the tops and bottoms slightly using a rolling pin, smooth glass, or your hands.
Preheat a griddle or skillet over medium-low heat.
Melt butter in 30-second increments in the microwave. Stir in garlic powder and Italian seasoning.
Brush the butter mixture onto the inside of one half of each roll. This buttered side will become the crispy outside.
Cut each cheese slice into four quarters.
Place rolls butter side down on the griddle. Add four small pieces of cheese to each roll.
Place the top half of each roll on the cheese with the inside facing up. Brush the tops with remaining butter mixture.
Cook for a few minutes until the bottom is golden brown. Carefully flip and cook until the other side is golden and cheese is fully melted.
Remove from heat. If cooking in sections, allow to cool slightly before slicing into individual Mini Grilled Cheese sandwiches.
