How to Make Heart-Shaped Pizzas

Shape pizza dough into a circle
Pinch the bottom and indent the top

Ingredients
  

  • Pizza dough store-bought or homemade
  • Pizza sauce of choice
  • Cheese or dairy-free cheese alternative
  • Favorite toppings vegetables, beef pepperoni, olives, mushrooms, peppers, onions

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven according to your pizza dough instructions.
  • Place a ball of pizza dough on a baking sheet or pizza stone.
  • Flatten the dough gently into a round shape. Let it rest for 5 minutes if it keeps shrinking.
  • Pinch and pull the bottom of the dough to form a pointed tip.
  • Press a finger into the top center of the dough and gently push downward to create the heart indentation. Adjust edges as needed.
  • Add sauce, cheese, and toppings just like a regular pizza.
  • Bake at 450°F, checking after 5 minutes. The pizza is usually done in 8–10 minutes when the crust is golden and the cheese is melted.
  • Remove from oven, cool slightly, and serve.

Notes

  • Swap regular cheese for dairy-free cheese for a vegan version
  • Serve with a fresh salad or sparkling juice for a festive meal
  • Great activity for kids or couples cooking together
