  • 3 tablespoons honey mustard 1 1/2 tablespoons honey + 1 1/2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil divided
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the honey mustard, minced garlic, 2 tablespoons olive oil, lemon juice, fresh dill, and a pinch of salt until well combined.
  • Line a baking sheet or roasting pan with aluminum foil.
  • Brush the salmon fillets on both sides with the remaining olive oil.
  • Place the fillets skin-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Use a brush or spoon to spread the honey mustard glaze evenly over the top of the salmon.
  • Bake the salmon for 8–10 minutes, depending on the thickness of the fillets.
  • Remove from the oven when the salmon is just barely cooked through. The center may still appear slightly translucent, but the residual heat will finish cooking it.
  • Serve the Honey Mustard Baked Salmon immediately with your favorite side dishes.

Notes

This salmon pairs beautifully with roasted vegetables, steamed asparagus, quinoa, or a fresh green salad.
