Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/3 cup low-sodium soy sauce or tamari
  • 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 8 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper optional
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt optional
  • Lime slices for garnish
  • Sliced scallions for garnish
  • Chopped fresh basil cilantro, or mint, for garnish
  • Toasted sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions
 

  • In a large bowl or zipper-top bag, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, lime juice, olive oil, cayenne pepper, and kosher salt.
  • Add the chicken breasts to the marinade and coat well.
  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or up to overnight for maximum flavor.
  • Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  • Remove the chicken from the marinade and discard the remaining marinade.
  • Grill the Honey Lime Chicken for 4–6 minutes per side, depending on thickness, until golden brown and fully cooked.
  • Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing or serving.
  • Garnish with lime slices, scallions, fresh herbs, or sesame seeds if desired.
