Ingredients

Sauce

  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 garlic clove minced

Chicken

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts or thighs
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons chopped cilantro or parsley

Instructions

  • In a small bowl or mason jar, whisk together honey, soy sauce, lime juice, and minced garlic until well combined. Set aside.
  • If the chicken breasts are uneven in thickness, pound them to about 1/2-inch thick or slice large pieces in half lengthwise.
  • Pat chicken dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown.
  • Stir the sauce and pour it into the pan with the chicken.
  • Continue cooking 6–10 minutes, turning occasionally, until chicken is cooked through and the sauce thickens slightly.
  • Garnish with chopped cilantro or parsley and serve warm.
