Honey Grilled Cheese with Crispy Chili

A honey grilled cheese made with gouda, chili oil, and sourdough bread.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 slices sourdough bread
  • 2 pats salted butter
  • 4 oz gouda cheese grated
  • 1 teaspoon crispy chili oil
  • 2 teaspoons honey

Instructions
 

  • Place the grated gouda cheese evenly on one slice of sourdough bread.
  • Drizzle crispy chili oil over the cheese, adjusting to your spice preference.
  • Top with the second slice of bread to form a sandwich.
  • Heat a pan over medium heat and melt half of the butter.
  • Place the sandwich in the pan and add more butter around the edges.
  • Spread the remaining butter on top of the sandwich.
  • Cook for 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.
  • Remove from heat once the cheese is fully melted.
  • Carefully open the sandwich and drizzle honey inside.
  • Close, slice, and serve your honey grilled cheese warm.

Notes

  • Add turkey ham for extra protein if desired.
