Prepare the sauce.
In a medium bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and ginger.
Divide the sauce.
Reserve half of the mixture for cooking later and use the remaining half as the marinade.
Marinate the shrimp.
Place the shrimp in a sealed container or zip-top bag and pour half of the marinade over them.
Seal and refrigerate for 15 minutes (or up to 8–12 hours).
Cook the shrimp.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Remove shrimp from marinade and place them in the skillet. Discard the used marinade.
Cook the shrimp on one side until pink, about 45 seconds.
Flip the shrimp and pour in the reserved sauce.
Cook for another 1–2 minutes until shrimp are fully cooked and coated in the honey garlic sauce.
Serve the Honey Garlic Shrimp with the sauce from the pan and garnish with chopped green onions.
