Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/4 cups brown rice
  • 1 medium head broccoli cut into florets
  • 2 cups honey garlic chicken plus extra sauce

Optional Toppings

  • Sliced green onions
  • Chopped peanuts
  • Chopped parsley or cilantro
  • Red pepper flakes
  • Sriracha

Instructions
 

  • Cook the rice
  • Prepare brown rice according to package instructions.
  • Steam the broccoli
  • Steam broccoli florets for 7–8 minutes until fork tender.
  • Reheat the chicken
  • Warm the honey garlic chicken and sauce in the microwave or on the stovetop.
  • Assemble the bowls
  • Divide rice and broccoli evenly among bowls.
  • Add chicken
  • Top each bowl with about 1/2 cup of honey garlic chicken.
  • Drizzle sauce
  • Spoon extra sauce over each bowl for added flavor.
  • Serve
  • Add optional toppings and enjoy your Honey Garlic Chicken Rice Bowls warm.

Notes

  • Substitute broccoli with green beans or zucchini
