Honey Garlic Butter Baked Salmon

Honey Garlic Butter Baked Salmon is tender, flaky, and coated in a sweet garlic butter sauce.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 boneless salmon fillets
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • ½ teaspoon dried parsley or 2 teaspoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • Pinch paprika
  • 1 lemon sliced into half-moons

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 200°C/400°F (fan). Line a baking tray with foil or a silicone mat.
  • Place salmon fillets skin-side-down on the prepared tray.
  • In a small bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, honey, parsley, salt, pepper, and paprika until combined.
  • Pour the honey garlic butter mixture evenly over the salmon fillets. Allow some sauce to pool around the fish.
  • Arrange lemon slices on top of and around the salmon.
  • Bake for 8 minutes.
  • Open the oven and baste the salmon with the sauce from the tray.
  • Bake for another 4–7 minutes, until the salmon is tender and flakes easily with a fork.
  • Honey Garlic Butter Baked Salmon is done when it reaches an internal temperature of 125–130°F for moist, flaky results.
  • Serve immediately with roasted potatoes and green vegetables.

Notes

  • Serve over rice, mashed potatoes, or quinoa.
