Preheat the oven. Set the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
Mix the wet ingredients. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter and brown sugar until smooth.
Add egg and honey. Whisk in the egg, honey, and vanilla extract until the mixture becomes glossy and fully combined.
Add dry ingredients. Stir in the flour, salt, and ½ teaspoon of cinnamon. Mix gently until just combined.
Prepare the topping. In a small bowl, combine the granulated sugar with the remaining ½ teaspoon cinnamon.
Spread the batter. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the surface evenly.
Add cinnamon sugar topping. Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly across the batter.
Bake. Bake for 22–25 minutes until the edges are lightly golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Cool. Allow the Honey Cinnamon Dessert to cool completely before slicing.
Serve. Cut into squares and enjoy warm or at room temperature.
