Ingredients
  

  • lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 6 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 4 large garlic cloves minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano
  • teaspoons salt
  • ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • teaspoons lemon zest

Instructions
 

  • Place each chicken breast into a large zip-top bag.
  • Pound each breast to an even ½-inch thickness using a meat mallet.
  • In the same bag, combine olive oil, garlic, thyme, oregano, salt, black pepper, and lemon zest.
  • Add the chicken breasts and massage the marinade until evenly coated.
  • Seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight for the best Healthy Grilled Chicken Recipe results.
  • Preheat the grill to high heat and lightly oil the grates.
  • Grill the chicken for 2–3 minutes per side with the lid closed until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
