Healthy Apple Nachos

Healthy apple nachos are a quick no-bake snack.
Prep Time 10 minutes

Ingredients
  

  • 2 apples of choice
  • 1/4 – 1/3 cup natural nut butter
  • Small handful chocolate chips
  • Small handful shredded coconut
  • Small handful slivered almonds optional
  • Sprinkle of cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Optional Toppings:

  • Hemp hearts
  • Cacao nibs
  • Raisins or currants
  • Ground cardamom
  • Maple syrup

Instructions
 

  • Wash, core, and slice apples into 1/4-inch pieces.
  • Toss apple slices with lemon juice to prevent browning.
  • Warm nut butter slightly until smooth and drizzlable.
  • Arrange apple slices on a serving plate in layers.
  • Drizzle nut butter over the apples.
  • Sprinkle with chocolate chips, coconut, almonds, and cinnamon.
  • Add any optional toppings as desired.
  • These healthy apple nachos are best served immediately for freshness and crunch.

Notes

You can switch nut butter types for different flavors. These healthy apple nachos are also great for kids and can be packed with their favorite toppings.
