Cuisine Mediterranean-inspired
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt preferably full fat
- 4 cups frozen strawberries or other frozen fruit
- 3 –4 tablespoons pure maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Add the Greek yogurt, frozen strawberries, maple syrup, and vanilla extract to a food processor.
Pulse and blend until the mixture becomes thick and creamy. You may need to pause and scrape down the sides occasionally.
Continue blending until a smooth Greek Frozen Yogurt texture forms. This may take a few minutes depending on your processor.
Taste the mixture and adjust sweetness by adding more maple syrup if desired.
Serve immediately for a soft-serve texture.
For a firmer consistency, transfer the mixture to a loaf pan and freeze for about 30 minutes before serving
You can experiment with different fruit combinations such as mango and pineapple or mixed berries.
