Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken breasts 4 small fillets
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • Juice and zest of 1 lemon
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

Step 1: Marinate

  • In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice and zest, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper. Add the chicken breasts and coat thoroughly. Cover and refrigerate for at least 10 minutes, or up to overnight for deeper flavor.

Step 2: Grill

  • Preheat the grill to medium-high heat and lightly oil the grates. Once hot, grill the Greek Chicken for 3–4 minutes per side, or until fully cooked and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).

Step 3: Rest and Serve

  • Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing to keep the juices locked in. Serve warm.

Notes

  • Serve with rice, roasted potatoes, or warm pita bread.
