Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the cheese tortellini according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Season the steak with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and sear the steak for 3–5 minutes per side until browned. Remove and set aside.

Slice the steak and return it to the skillet along with the tortellini. Toss everything together for 2 minutes.
