Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups flour bread or all-purpose
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1 ⅛ teaspoon instant yeast
  • ½ teaspoon granulated sugar
  • Olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • cup parmesan cheese freshly grated
  • 1 ½ teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • Maldon flaked sea salt

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl, mix flour and salt.
  • In a separate cup, combine warm water, yeast, and sugar. Let sit briefly.
  • Add the yeast mixture to the flour and mix until a sticky dough forms.
  • Cover tightly and refrigerate for at least 8 hours or overnight.
  • Remove from fridge and transfer dough to an oiled 8-inch pan.
  • Cover and let rise for 2 hours.
  • Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C).
  • Drizzle olive oil over the dough and press dimples using your fingers.
  • Mix garlic, parmesan, and Italian seasoning.
  • Sprinkle evenly over the dough along with flaked sea salt.
  • Bake Garlic Parmesan Focaccia Bread at 425°F (220°C) for 22–24 minutes until golden brown.

Notes

  • Substitute parmesan with pecorino for a sharper taste
