Florida Shrimp Pie Recipe – Creamy, Easy, and Full of Flavor

Ingredients
  

  • 1 deep dish pie crust from a 12 oz package, frozen, thawed
  • 1/2 cup chive-and-onion cream cheese spread
  • 4 large eggs
  • 12 oz cooked shrimp peeled, deveined, and chopped
  • 1/2 cup shredded pepper Jack cheese

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Allow pie crust to thaw for 10–20 minutes. Prick the bottom with a fork and pre-bake for 9–11 minutes.
  • In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth.
  • Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  • Gently fold in chopped shrimp and shredded pepper Jack cheese.
  • Pour mixture into the pre-baked pie crust.
  • Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until the center is set.
  • Let the shrimp pie rest for 15 minutes before slicing. Serve warm.

Notes

  • Swap pepper Jack for cheddar or mozzarella for milder flavor
