Easy Taco Bowl

A quick easy taco bowl made with seasoned ground beef, rice, and fresh toppings.

Ingredients
  

For the Beef:

  • 1 1/2 lbs lean ground beef

Taco Seasoning:

  • 1 Tbsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp oregano
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper

Toppings:

  • 1 15 oz can black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 15 oz can corn, drained
  • Pico de gallo
  • Avocado
  • Cheddar cheese grated
  • Fresh cilantro
  • Brown rice about 1 1/2 cups per serving

Instructions
 

  • In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain excess fat if needed.
  • In a small bowl, mix all taco seasoning ingredients.
  • Sprinkle the seasoning over the beef and stir well to combine. Simmer for 3–5 minutes to enhance flavor.
  • Add cooked brown rice to a serving bowl.
  • Top the rice with the seasoned beef mixture.
  • Finish your easy taco bowl with black beans, corn, pico de gallo, avocado, cheese, and cilantro.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy.

Notes

You can substitute white rice or cauliflower rice.
