  • ½ cup cottage cheese
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon preferred sweetener
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder optional

  • Pour the mixture into a shallow dish wide enough to fit the bread slices.
  • Dip one slice of bread into the mixture and allow it to soak for 1–2 minutes.
  • Flip the bread and soak the other side until fully coated.
  • Heat butter or cooking spray in a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat.
  • Place the soaked bread onto the hot skillet.
  • Cook each side for 2–3 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Repeat with the remaining bread slices.
  • Serve the Easy Protein French Toast warm with your favorite toppings.

Notes

  • Use gluten-free bread for a gluten-free version.
  • Unsweetened applesauce can replace eggs for an egg-free alternative.
  • Almond or oat bread works well for additional fiber.
  • Fresh fruit adds natural sweetness without extra sugar.
