Easy Parmesan Crusted Carrots

Crispy Parmesan Crusted Carrots made with simple spices and roasted to perfection.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb medium carrots sliced into ½ inch rounds
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • ¾ cup finely grated Parmesan cheese divided
  • 1 tablespoon hot honey optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Slice the carrots into ½-inch rounds and place them in a medium bowl.
  • Add olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, pepper, and ¼ cup Parmesan cheese. Toss until evenly coated.
  • Spread the remaining Parmesan cheese evenly onto the parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Arrange the seasoned carrots on top of the cheese layer in a single layer.
  • Roast for 20–25 minutes until the carrots are tender and the cheese forms a crispy crust.
  • Let cool slightly, then carefully lift and serve.
  • Drizzle with hot honey if desired for a sweet-spicy finish.

Notes

  • Swap Parmesan with a halal-certified hard cheese if needed.
  • Serve alongside grilled chicken, beef, or rice dishes.
  • Works great with baby carrots as well.
