Easy Naan Bread Recipe (15 Min Yeast-Free Flatbread)

Ingredients
  

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour plain flour
  • 1 cup plain yogurt or dairy-free vegan yogurt
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

Instructions
 

  • Add flour, yogurt, baking powder, and salt to a large bowl. Mix until combined, then use your hands to bring the dough together.
  • Knead gently in the bowl for about 1 minute until a soft, slightly sticky dough forms. Add a little extra flour if needed to make it manageable.
  • Divide the dough into six equal pieces.
  • On a lightly floured surface, roll each piece into a circle about 6 inches in diameter.
  • Heat a dry frying pan over medium-high heat.
  • Cook each naan for 2–3 minutes per side until golden spots appear and the bread puffs slightly.
  • Serve warm or keep covered until ready to eat.
