Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
Mix flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar in a bowl.
Add grated cold butter and mix until crumbly.
Slowly stir in buttermilk until dough forms.
Knead lightly and shape into an oval.
Add extra butter, fold dough, and roll out.
Cut into biscuits and place in a buttered skillet.
Top with butter and bake 15–20 minutes until golden.
Brush with honey butter while warm.
