EASY Air Fryer Broccoli

Air Fryer Broccoli is a quick and healthy side dish made with garlic butter and Parmesan cheese.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 head broccoli cut into florets
  • 2 tablespoons butter melted
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • Additional Parmesan cheese for serving
  • Pinch of red pepper flakes optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  • Wash and dry the broccoli thoroughly, then cut it into bite-sized florets.
  • In a large bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes if using.
  • Add the broccoli florets and toss until evenly coated.
  • Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over the broccoli and toss again to distribute evenly.
  • Arrange the broccoli in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  • Cook the Air Fryer Broccoli for 6–8 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through cooking.
  • Remove once the broccoli is tender and slightly crispy around the edges.
  • Transfer to a serving dish and top with additional Parmesan cheese before serving.

Notes

  • Fresh broccoli works best for this recipe.
  • Frozen broccoli can be used but may require a few extra minutes of cooking time.
  • Serve with grilled chicken, steak, salmon, or pasta dishes.
  • Parmesan can be replaced with Pecorino Romano for a sharper flavor.
  • Add lemon zest for a fresh and vibrant finish.
