Dill Pickle Grilled Cheese Sandwich Recipe

A dill pickle grilled cheese sandwich combines melty dill havarti cheese, chopped pickles, and crunchy pickle chips inside toasted sourdough bread.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 slices sourdough bread
  • 6 oz dill havarti cheese shredded
  • 2 tablespoons dill pickle slices chopped and patted dry
  • 2 pats salted butter
  • 1 handful dill pickle potato chips

Instructions
 

  • Place one slice of sourdough bread on a clean surface.
  • Add half of the shredded dill havarti cheese on top of the bread.
  • Sprinkle the chopped dill pickle slices evenly over the cheese.
  • Add the remaining shredded dill havarti on top of the pickles.
  • Place the second slice of bread on top to form the sandwich.
  • Spread butter on the outside of both slices of bread.
  • Heat a skillet over medium-low heat.
  • Place the sandwich in the skillet and cook for 4–6 minutes per side until the bread becomes golden brown and the cheese melts completely.
  • Remove the sandwich from the skillet and gently open it.
  • Add a handful of dill pickle potato chips inside for crunch.
