Crispy Hot Honey Feta Chicken

Ingredients
  

For the Chicken

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts about 1.5 pounds
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

For the Hot Honey Sauce

  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1 –2 tablespoons hot sauce adjust to taste
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

Topping

  • Crumbled feta cheese about 1/2 cup, adjust to taste

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or place a wire rack on top.
  • Set up a breading station:
  • Bowl 1: flour mixed with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
  • Bowl 2: eggs, whisked.
  • Bowl 3: panko breadcrumbs.
  • Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip into eggs, then coat well with panko, pressing gently so crumbs stick.
  • Place chicken on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake for 20–25 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and cooked through (internal temperature 165°F / 75°C).
  • While chicken bakes, combine honey, hot sauce, and apple cider vinegar in a small saucepan. Warm over medium heat until combined.
  • Remove chicken from oven and drizzle generously with hot honey sauce.
  • Sprinkle feta cheese over the hot chicken so it softens slightly. Serve immediately.

Serve with roasted vegetables, salad, or rice
