Creamy Tuscan Mushroom Pasta Skillet

One-pan creamy mushroom pasta with spinach

Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz pasta of choice
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup mushrooms sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup spinach
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add sliced mushrooms and sauté until golden brown.
  • Stir in minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Add spinach and cook until just wilted.
  • Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
  • Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  • Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat evenly.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Garnish with fresh basil and serve warm.

Notes

This dish pairs beautifully with garlic bread or a crisp green salad. You can also add sun-dried tomatoes or grilled chicken breast (halal) for extra protein.
