Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz spaghetti or fettuccine
  • 1 cup ripe tomatoes diced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook pasta until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant and lightly golden.
  • Stir in diced tomatoes, salt, and pepper. Simmer for about 5 minutes until softened.
  • Reduce heat and slowly add the heavy cream, stirring until smooth and creamy.
  • Add cooked pasta to the sauce and toss until evenly coated.
  • Serve hot, garnished with fresh basil and optional grated Parmesan.
