Creamy Garlic Shrimp

Creamy Garlic Shrimp with rich garlic cream sauce.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 pounds jumbo shrimp peeled and deveined
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons broth non-alcoholic substitute for wine
  • 1 ½ cups heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ cup white cheddar cheese or Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped

Instructions
 

  • Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until hot.
  • Add shrimp and cook for 2–3 minutes per side until pink and fully cooked. Season with salt and pepper. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Add broth and stir, allowing it to simmer briefly.
  • Pour in heavy cream and add Italian seasoning and cheese. Stir until smooth.
  • Reduce heat and simmer until the sauce thickens.
  • Return shrimp to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.
  • Garnish Creamy Garlic Shrimp with fresh parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Substitute cream with half-and-half for a lighter version
