Carefully slice each chicken breast into two thinner cutlets.
Season with Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
Lightly coat each piece with flour.
Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter in a skillet over medium heat.
Cook chicken for about 4 minutes per side until golden and fully cooked. Remove and set aside.
Add remaining butter and garlic cloves to the same skillet. Sauté on medium-low heat for 3 minutes until fragrant.
Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, then add garlic powder. Stir well and scrape up any browned bits.
Let the sauce simmer for 8–10 minutes until thickened. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Return the chicken to the skillet and spoon the sauce over it.
