Creamy Cottage Cheese Avocado Toast (Quick Recipe)

Ingredients
  

  • ½ medium avocado
  • ½ cup cottage cheese
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Everything but the Bagel seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon honey optional, for topping
  • 2 slices sourdough bread or bread of choice

Instructions
 

  • Mash the avocado in a small bowl until mostly smooth.
  • Add lemon juice, Dijon mustard, and Everything but the Bagel seasoning. Mix well.
  • Toast the bread until golden and crisp.
  • Spread the avocado mixture evenly over each slice.
  • Spoon cottage cheese on top of the avocado layer.
  • Finish with a drizzle of honey, extra lemon juice, and more seasoning if desired.
  • This Creamy Cottage Cheese Avocado Toast is best served immediately while the toast is warm.

  • Add red pepper flakes for heat
