Ingredients

  • 1 pound snow crab clusters thawed if necessary
  • ¼ cup butter
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • teaspoons dried parsley
  • ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • teaspoon salt

Instructions

  • Using kitchen scissors or a sharp knife, cut a lengthwise slit into the shell of each crab leg. This helps the butter sauce penetrate the meat and makes the crab easier to eat.
  • In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  • Add the minced garlic and cook for 1–2 minutes until fragrant and slightly translucent.
  • Stir in the dried parsley, black pepper, and salt.
  • Allow the butter mixture to heat until it begins to bubble gently.
  • Add the crab legs to the skillet and toss them to coat evenly with the garlic butter sauce.
  • Cover and simmer for 5–6 minutes, or until the crab legs are fully heated through.
  • Serve the crab legs hot with extra garlic butter sauce from the pan.

Notes

You can substitute snow crab with king crab legs if preferred. Adjust cooking time slightly for thicker legs.
